Supersnap
Supersnap is a hyperlocal delivery platform that caters to B2B and B2C sectors. Initially, the application would be launched only in tier 1 city and later on might expand to more cities. The application can deliver essential items such as documents, food, groceries, medicines, etc.
My Role: UX Research, UI design
Date: Jan 2021-March 2021
Methods and Tools: User interviews, Competitive Analysis, Usability Studies, Thematic Analysis, Figma.
Problem Space
The challenge is to differentiate a hyperlocal delivery app in India from existing platforms by addressing key issues such as timely delivery, coordination, and meeting users' evolving demands, in order to provide enhanced delivery experiences.
Work Process
We used the User Centered Design process to create this delivery experience. Using user research as our guide, we brainstormed and designed various solutions to meet user needs.
Using our findings, we developed a high-fidelity interactive prototype.
Our studio designed three modules: a mobile app for end-users, a mobile app for delivery executives, and an admin panel on the web portal.
Discovery
Comp analysis:
To start with the research, we conducted we conducted a competitive analysis to gain insights into the goals, strengths, and weaknesses of similar services. This analysis was crucial in identifying areas for improvement and enhancing our product. We examined several hyperlocal services, including Dunzo, Wefast, Saral, Chotabeta, Swiggy Ginie, Porter, Pidge, and Rapidel. The analysis considered factors such as ratings, task completion steps, notable application features, service offerings, and unique features of each platform.

Qualitative Analysis
User Interviews
Based on potential user groups (students, working professionals, and seniors), we conducted user interviews using a questionnaire to develop accurate user personas. The questionnaire introduced our team and interview purpose, and was divided into two parts: ice-breaking and gathering insights related to user needs, preferences, and pain points.
Focus Points:
Frequency and specific tasks performed using hyperlocal delivery apps
Most useful features and functionality in a hyperlocal delivery app
Positive experiences with hyperlocal delivery apps
Desired improvements and additional features in a hyperlocal delivery app
Analysis
After transcribing the interviews, a thematic analysis was conducted by organizing and coding the data. Pain points were categorized and all the themes were presented concisely, providing valuable insights. Different themes emerged, such as:
Personas
Following are the User Personas that were created on the basis of the interview taken. These are the personas created for the end-user part of the application. This helps in the creation of a user-centric design and also ensures that the product meets the needs of the target audience.
Information Architecture
Sitemap: The next step was to create sitemap of the both end user and employee application. It helped us to visualize the structure and hierarchy of this application, making sure that all pages or screens are accounted for and supporting navigation planning.
User Flow: After creating the sitemap, the next step was creating the user flow. There were different user flow for delivery depending on the type of delivery (open or exclusive).
Delivery Personnel’s user flow
Mid-Fidelity Wireframes
After the review of the mid-fidelity wireframes with the stakeholders and developers; the
next step was to create a style guide for the application. The style guide was created to keep the brand identity consistent.

Conclusion
This UX design case study has enhanced my skills in teamwork, user research analysis, and creating tailored experiences. Additionally, analyzing user interviews has provided valuable insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points, allowing me to create more user-centric designs.
Furthermore, the project involved working on different modules, catering to the needs of both users and delivery executives. This required careful consideration of the unique requirements and goals of each user group, resulting in a tailored and intuitive experience for both parties.
This case study has enriched my knowledge of user research, collaboration, and personalized experiences. It has equipped me with valuable skills and insights for future UX design projects, empowering me to create impactful solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
